About our Venues

Belleville Roots uses two performance spaces for its concerts, the historic 1867 Meetinghouse and the smaller, more intimate Stage Room in the adjacent Fiske Chapel complex. Both venues are part of Belleville Congregational Church at 300 High Street in Newburyport. The Meetinghouse provides seating for 500 on its main and balcony levels. The smaller Stage Room has a capacity of 250 for dances (limited seating available) or 175 for seated concerts.

Both performance venues are wheelchair accessible, as are the restrooms adjacent to the Stage Room.

Food and Beverages

Cold, non-alcoholic beverages and an assortment of home-baked items and snacks are available before each concert and at intermission. Contributions are accepted and encouraged.

Door Times

Doors open one hour before the concert's posted start time. All seating is on a first-come basis; there is no reserved seating.

There is free parking available on High Street and on Chapel Street next to the church. Please be respectful of our neighbors, and do not block driveways.
